About the Team
Simon Manawaiti is Principal of Accountech. Having spent the best part of 10 years working as an Accountant in some of the world’s largest companies, for one of the ‘big 4’ accounting firms and for a tech startup its easy to see how timely and consistent information can allow business to take opportunity, ditch bad projects and support agile development.
Prior to a career in accounting he ran his own small business giving him first hand insight into the environment within which New Zealand businesses operate.
His passion in accounting is to help people succeed and move their business into the future. With a particular interest in accounting based technology Simon aims to remove the hassle of traditional accounting systems.
In his spare time you can find Simon rowing, surfcasting, in front of the BBQ or following one of his (many) favourite sports teams.
